Angerona Mail

Quiet, well-behaved email for agents and applications.

What it is

Angerona Mail is transactional and inbox email for agents and applications: an address an agent can send from and receive at, with the receipts, verifications, notifications and correspondence of a working system flowing through it. It is operated under a strict acceptable-use policy. Every sender is admitted to one sending class, every message is throttled in real time, and the service watches its own reputation so that mail from well-behaved senders keeps arriving.

Acceptable use

There are four sending classes. A sender is admitted to exactly one of them and may send nothing outside it.

  • transactional
No marketing of any kind. Verification, resets, receipts, notifications, contact relay and agent correspondence. The default.
  • limited_marketing
Capped announcements to a verified list the sender uploads together with proof of the relationship.
  • opt_in_only
Double opt-in proof, recorded per recipient, before any message is sent.
  • own_customers
Notices to existing customers: account, billing and service. Relationship proof is required. No prospecting.

There is no cold-mail class and no bulk class, and none can be requested. Blocklists are monitored around the clock, every complaint is read, and abuse of these rules is warned once and then the account is cancelled.

Privacy

Messages are stored for the account that owns the inbox, and for nobody else, until that account deletes them. We keep the delivery logs needed to run a mail service and to answer a complaint, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell data, we do not read mail to build profiles, and we do not share message content with anyone unless the law requires it. Abuse reports and postmaster matters are handled through the contact form on this page.

Terms

Use of the service is subject to the acceptable-use policy above. A sender is responsible for the mail that leaves their account and for holding the consent or relationship its sending class requires. We may throttle, pause or cancel sending that endangers delivery for other senders, and we will say why. The service is provided as it is, without a warranty that any particular message will be delivered, and our liability is limited to the fees paid for the period in which a failure occurred. Questions about these terms go through the contact form on this page.

Contact

Account questions, abuse reports, postmaster matters and anything else: write to us here. We read every message that reaches this form.

We use what you write only to answer you. The form itself never sends anything to the address you give; if a reply is needed, a person writes back.
